The One Year Anniversary of LaJon’s “Try Me”

One year ago today, LaJon released his debut single “Try Me” anticipating that listeners would accept it with open open arms and his future would change forever. His pure God given talent not only changed his life, but it also left a lifelong impression on mine.

Over the last year, I’ve been a witness to LaJon’s living testimony of how dreams can come true with hard work, passion, drive and the amazing support of a team that fully believes in you. Since my first feature of “Try Me,” the personal meaning of the song has changed drastically. I was in a relationship that I thought would be my last, and I related directly to the song in hopes that Mr. Man would try me. Shortly after that post, that relationship ended and I was completely devastated. During that time MofA was nothing more than a hobby, as well my own personal 24/7 listener. My how things have changed… The rekindling of that relationship has been proposed, and MofA is hardly a hobby.

Watching LaJon’s “Try Me” video go from 50 views to over 4,600, noting his consistency with every hit single, and attending a sold out show, hearing him pour out every ounce of his heart and soul to every single person in that audience……if that’s not motivation, I don’t know what is! Seeing him pursue his passion gave me inspiration to do the same with MofA.

LaJon:

Like I’ve said before – you are on your way! With full confidence that I’ll still be blogging when (not if) you win your first Grammy, I am honored to be able to say that I was the first to feature your debut and to have had the opportunities to document your journey. I have no doubt in my mind that with all the qualities you possess and your genius, that the remainder of your road to success will be just as remarkable as it was up to this point. You’re hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and you’ll always have my full support. Congratulations on your one year anniversary, and I wish you many more in the future!

.Love&Music.
